Welcome to the home of the Petawawa Badminton Club!
 We are very glad that you have decided to drop in and pay us a visit!

Badminton has enjoyed phenomenal growth in Canada during the past twenty years.  It's popularity stems from a number of reasons.  It is an easy sport to learn yet provides a variety of skill levels to satisfy beginners to die-hard competitors.

Enjoyment of the game by the traditions of courtesy and sportsmanship for which badminton is widely known.

The Petawawa Badminton Club has many members, including a variety of calibers.  The club uses a system where games are arranged for the members according to skill level.  This provides our members with an optimum workout and allows them to improve at the sport.

CLUB NIGHTS

Tuesday and Thursday: 7:00-10:00 p.m.

Location: General Panet High School (Boys Gym)

September 14th,2002-May 31st, 2003.


We are very excited that we will be hosting a Black Knight Badminton Night in either January or Feburary, 2003.  If you are interested in attending for this fabulous night and learning more about the fast paced world of badminton, email for more details.
 

MEMBERSHIP

Open to Military, Dependents and Civilians over 16 years of age.

FEE:  $30.00 Single or $45.00 Family per year (C.A.C. or entitlements must also be paid)

Nylon shuttlecocks are provided.  A limited number of racquets are also available for club use.
 

COACHING

For beginners or those who need to brush up on their strokes, the club provides qualified coaches who are willing to assist at anytime. This time can be arranged in advanced and we'll start 1/2 hour earlier for those wishing to do this.
 

SOCIAL

The badminton club normally holds social events during the year.  A dinner and dance is held after every tournament!
